At the leadership level, Bergmeyer elevated two team members into its Associate tier, two Senior Associates, one Associate Principal, and one Principal.

At the Principal tier, Bergmeyer welcomed TJ DiFeo:
The role of Principal is one of being able to wear many hats on behalf of the firm. This involves consistently, simultaneously, and successfully juggling multiple aspects of our firm, including business growth, staff development, client relationship management, process improvement, and strategic plan implementation. Often described as a Mentor, generous collaborator, and committed to furthering the professional development of his team and the goals of his projects and clients, TJ demonstrates time and again that he is capable of juggling all of these responsibilities with his easygoing and wholly approachable personality that often masks the range of responsibilities he holds on behalf of Bergmeyer - all while maintaining his signature sense of humor and positivity.
At the Associate Principal tier, Bergmeyer welcomed Rachel Lanzafame:
Rachel has served as Practice Committee Chair, sat on the Board of Directors, and contributed meaningfully to countless strategic initiatives within Bergmeyer. Throughout her career, she has practiced across a wide range of markets, project types, and project teams, and has been influential in shaping the way that we practice as a collaborative.
With a wealth of experience in the academic market, Rachel stands out as the expert voice for our most significant academic projects. Her innovative vision is a driving force behind Bergmeyer's ongoing success and expansion in the academic sector. The enduring value she brings to clients is evident not only in the repeat business she attracts but also in the enduring strength of her relationships with former clients, extending years beyond project completion.
At the Senior Associate tier, Bergmeyer welcomed Jason Cohen and JJ Nelson:
Jason has become a critical technical resource to Bergmeyer through his involvement in the practice committee, as a project manager, as the leader of Bergmeyer’s QA/QC program, and as Bermgeyer’s Risk Manager. Jason is a mentor for many and has invested himself in furthering the professional growth and development of our co-ops and interns as well as full-time staff.
Jason stands as a pivotal figure within our commercial team and has worked on projects across several of our markets. Renowned for his unwavering reliability and indispensable operational expertise in diverse industries, Jason consistently elevates each project, enhancing the overall experience for both his teams and clients.
Often hailed as the heartbeat of Bergmeyer, JJ's efforts have been nothing short of transformative in positioning Bergmeyer as a thought leader in the design industry by enhancing the way that our brand presents itself internally and externally. JJ is a living example of showing empathy through interactions with his team, consultants, and clients.
He is attuned to each of the unique voices within Bergmeyer and provides opportunities to amplify the various perspectives as a unifying voice with a consistent tone of optimism and joyous energy that is the embodiment of Bergmeyer’s spirit. JJ stands as a championing leader in fostering inclusive and thoughtful brand communications.
At the Associate tier, Bergmeyer welcomed Joe Vecchione and Quinn Levine:
Joe has held an incredibly wide variety of roles within Bergmeyer over his 9 years. From Job Captain to Project Manager and now Account Manager for our award-winning F&B clients, from the chair of the events committee to coach of the softball team, and as a graduate of Bergmeyer’s Leadership Development Program - Joe has become a leader of the firm and we are thrilled to welcome him as an owner. Joe is also focused on promoting a positive team environment through his supportive nature and strong communication. He consistently prioritizes the needs of the firm, his fellow Bergies, and his clients.
Quinn is always thinking about how to support Bergmeyer in its transformation into a design collaborative. He is future-focused and actively maps out how his role at the firm can support Bergmeyer's most important strategic initiatives. A knowledge-sharing champion, Quinn is seen as a go-to resource for anything that is technologically innovative. Quinn also dives deep into the work our clients do to understand their business. He is so much more than an architect to them. He's truly a trusted partner who understands their business, their employee needs, and their end product and how they can be enhanced through the built environment.
In addition to key leadership advancements, Bergmeyer announced Design Practice Leader promotions for team members who demonstrate significant expertise in their dedicated areas of practice.
