When you are retired and look back on your life, what is the biggest accomplishment you hope to achieve?
I hope I pass on all of the knowledge and wisdom that I’ve gained from my predecessors, and that Bergmeyer’s next generation continues to thrive.
What does successful workplace culture mean to you?
Creating something better together than any of us could do on our own.
If you had to pick one word that best represents Bergmeyer's culture, what would it be, and why?
Family. On so many levels, and not just because I’ve been here so long I feel like I’ve grown up with my colleagues. We all have different personalities, strengths, and weaknesses. We don’t always agree, but we all accept each other for our differences and root for each other’s success. Sometimes we drink a little to much at gatherings. We’ve got each other’s backs when we need support. We genuinely care about each other, and our lives outside of the office.
What would you be doing if you were not working in this industry?
I honestly have no idea. I have wanted to be an architect since I was a little girl and I can’t imagine doing anything else.
At what age would you live forever?
28
