For months we’ve been hearing the travel buzzwords…drive to destinations, revenge travel, the return of the roaring twenties. The pent-up demand is real, the summer serge is starting, vacation days are being spent, and we are here to tell you that the leisure sector is ready to open the road for you – and eager to show you the new and better experiences that await.
Last week, a colleague and I were lucky enough to have a site visit in upstate NY to meet with a client about a potential new project. Knowing that we had an early morning meeting and a long drive ahead of us, we decided to turn it into an overnight trip, an adventure, property review, and a scouting mission. Our goal: Discover inspirational and unique retreats for our clients, co-workers, and our families to HIT THE ROAD!
We sought out design-centric and alternative lodging – with bonus points for great eats and drinks, adjacent adventures, a view that reaches beyond our own four walls, and that slice of magic that only a hospitality company can deliver.
With these parameters in mind, we are happy to present Bergmeyer’s curated collection of DRIVE TO DESTINATIONS: Northeast edition!
A little something for everyone. Remote cabins, converted hipster motels, high-end guest houses, camping, and glamping. Properties and brands creating and delivering unique experiences for unique guests. We dare you to hit the road …please report back!
