What valuable lesson did you learn from your parents?

My mom taught (and continues to teach) me the value of hard work, perseverance, and self-advocacy. My dad always says “If it’s the biggest problem of the day, it’s a good day”- whether it was missing the school bus in the morning or having a bad hair day, he taught me the importance of a good attitude, and to not take life too seriously.

What was your first job?

Scooping ice cream in Quincy Market! Very fun (but very sticky).

What's your favorite season?

If you had asked me before I moved to Texas, I’d have said Summer. Now it’s Fall; I missed everything about it.

What's the best live music show you've seen?

Austin City Limits 2023. All of the artists were great, but getting to see Noah Kahan so close was an unforgettable experience.

What's the strangest place you've ever visited?

The Catacombs in France, while incredibly interesting, were definitely a little unsettling.

What do you listen to while relaxing?

I almost always have a podcast going- my favorite is Armchair Expert.
