What's your favorite season?

My favorite season is summer. It reminds me of my beloved island, where the vibrant atmosphere is filled with sun, music, and delicious food. Summer brings a sense of joy and togetherness, and it feels like everyone is just a little bit happier during this time.

What's your Kryptonite?

My Kryptonite is my children. They continually inspire me to strive to be a better person. They remind me of the simple joys and truths that we often overlook as we grow older. They ground me and encourage me to reflect more deeply on life, helping me stay humble and balanced through both triumphs and challenges.

In a parallel universe, what is your profession?

In a parallel universe, I’d be a fashion designer like my father. Growing up, it was my dream to follow in his footsteps and work alongside him. I fondly remember watching him transform models and create stunning looks—it was like having a real-life Barbie doll. The fashion world’s blend of fantasy and artistic freedom has always fascinated me, and I think it would be an incredible way to channel my creative vision.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?

The weirdest thing I’ve ever eaten was iguana in Mexico. I specifically asked not to see the animal or the preparation process—sometimes ignorance is bliss! My sister-in-law, a talented chef, seasoned and fried the iguana in a traditional way. To my surprise, it was delicious and tasted quite a bit like chicken.

Where would you take a month-long road trip?

I’d take a month-long road trip through Southern Europe. I promised my daughter that for her 15th birthday, we would embark on a backpacking adventure starting in Portugal and ending in Rome. I believe traveling is an incredible gift—it enriches our understanding of different cultures and deepens our connection with people from around the world. It’s a transformative experience that fosters humility and broadens one’s perspective.
